IN PROPERTY AGENTS ACN 662 416 319 & ABN 35 662 416 319 (“IN PROPERTY AGENTS”, “we”, “our”, “us”) and its associated companies respect your right to privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information of individuals who deal with us.

We comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information, and how you can access or correct that information or make a privacy complaint.

This Privacy Policy applies to IN PROPERTY AGENTS and covers personal information collected, held, used and disclosed in relation to:

  • prospective or actual vendors and purchasers

  • prospective or actual landlords and tenants

  • visitors to our website

  • suppliers and independent contractors

  • recruitment applicants (excluding existing employees)

Completed real estate files are securely archived for at least 7 years, after which they are securely destroyed or de-identified unless required by law.

ACCESS AND CORRECTION

You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information by contacting our Privacy Officer. We will respond within 30 days, subject to lawful exceptions.

PRIVACY COMPLAINTS

If you believe we have breached the APPs, you may submit a written complaint to our Privacy Officer.

We will:

  • acknowledge your complaint within 7 days

  • investigate objectively

  • respond within 30 days where possible
